This two days safari will take you to two unique destinations the Tarangire national park famous for the number of countless Acacia trees and scattered Baobabs, the park also has a big herd of elephants wallowing and caring for their families. Then the largest caldera the Ngorongoro crater which is well defined by its well-designed eco- system the well balanced flora and fauna across the crater surface.

Tour Plans

Day: 1

Picked –up in the morning in Arusha and drive in comfort to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunches. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. The bird life in Tarangire is outstanding, sitting directly underneath a fly by between southern Africa and Europe, capturing migrants from both hemispheres. Leopards are particularly abundant here, as giraffe. But above all are the large numbers of elephant families that concentrate in the park during the dry season in search of precious water in the Tarangire River This area is very good for herbivores (plant eaters) and you stand a good chance to see Giraffe, Impala, Dikdik and many more later in the afternoon we depart for Karatu town for Overnight at Kudu lodge. Day: 2

Wake up early morning for breakfast then at drive to Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend into the Crater floor (19.2 km of diameter, 610 m deep, 304 sq km) for game drives. All the four of the Big five Rhino, Lion, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera if lucky enough Leopard as well, others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, Hyena and more…Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more.. Break for lunch at Ngoitoktok spring Picnic sites it will be an unforgettable experience. After lunch proceed with fame viewing while ascending the Crater and drive back to Arusha.
